About Us...Hello, my name is Nick Boley and I own and operate Windy Ridge Outfitting located in Van Buren County, Iowa. We have hunts available in Southeast Iowa and Every hunter should experience this opportunity at least once. My goal with Windy Ridge Outfitting is to give each hunter the best possible experience hunting in Southeast Iowa and We do not over hunt our properties as some outfitters do. I am offering you the “hunt of a lifetime", where you have a very good chance to bag the "deer of a lifetime". We will be running limited numbers of hunters, with some booking three years in advance. We have over 6,000 of the best acres available in As the owner of Windy Ridge Outfitting, I have over 20 years experience in the whitetail woods. While having killed several Pope and Young deer, nothing compares to what our clients have killed over the past three years. This is a testament to our desire to put our clients first and foremost. Our guides are some of the best you can find anywhere. Check out the “staff” page to read their bios. Our shot opportunity (NOT dead animals, but opportunity) has been nearly 200% over the last three years. Our success rate, meaning animals taking a ride in the back of the truck has been 83% for 2006, 2007, & 2008 cumulatively. Our hunters have been rebooking at a rate of over 85% which is extremely high for the industry. After the days hunt, you will settle in at our lodge, located in the midst of our properties.
